Our dogs have been thriving since we switched them to Petcurean dog food a few months ago. Both rescues, Woody (terrier mix) and Ziggy Stardust (lab mix) now have beautiful, super silky coats and Ziggy has even stopped needing steroid medication. He was on prednisone for skin issues, which (unfortunately) made him gain a lot of weight. We’re still working on getting his weight back to normal, but that will happen in no time. Extra runs each day are good for ALL of us.
I’m a huge advocate for shelter dogs. If you follow me on twitter, you may have noticed that I share links to dogs in need of homes every morning, using the hashtag #AdoptDontShop. I want to SAVE THEM ALL, but I can’t so I hope that spreading the word via social media helps a bit! I also tweet daily (at no charge) for Pet Orphans, an animal rescue in Van Nuys. If you’re thinking of getting a dog for your family, please consider adopting. There are so many needy animals out there and rescues give back the most sincere, unconditional love.
Do you have a rescue dog? A beloved family member adopted from a shelter? Would you like a chance to win two free bags of Petcurean premium dog food?
If YES, please comment below with the name of your adopted dog (or dogs) and you’re entered to win!

I really am thrilled that I’m able to share Petcurean with my readers. My dogs LOVE Petcurean’s “GO! Sensitivity and Shine Duck Recipe”. It’s made with premium duck, antioxidants and NO by-products, added growth hormones or artificial preservatives. Woody and Ziggy Stardust are like kids to me, so they deserve the best.
The Petcurean Website notes that they were “driven by the idea that pets deserved better: that pets deserved food that was made with the same love and care as we put into preparing meals for our own families.”

Again, full disclosure: This contest is sponsored by Petcurean and I am being compensated for these blog posts. Please note that I would NEVER promote or support a product I didn’t love or use. For example you won’t see me writing about baby clothing or cat toys. Woof.
We adopted our dog from our local shelter in the Inland Empire. His name is Bruce Wayne (the Great Dane with Labrador) and he is my best friend, and the best dog ever. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

My dog’s name is Soldier, a beagle and blue tick hound mix. He’s six years old and definitely an attention hound. He would love to try the dog food 🙂

Our dog’s name is Maxwell and he is a 1 yr old labrador basenji mix. We adopted him a month ago from our local shelter. He is a big curious puppy who thinks he’s a small dog and he would love to try some new food.

Our adopted dog is Dumpling, he’s a one-eyed mutt who looks like a large shih-tzu. We’d love the chance to try Petcurean food, it sounds great!

I have a (possible) GSD mix, who was literally skin and bones when I adopted him from our local, small shelter. I named him Angus, as he both looked and acted like he could eat a cow! Angus is now a happy, healthy boy! Wish I could post a picture of him! I know he would love to try this food ❤
